Once upon a time, telephones were attached to cables. They sat on designated tables (often in hallways) in our houses. Then they became portable and pocket-sized. Nowadays we can make calls with our watches. What’s next? Microchips in our brains that interconnect with other brains and transmit thoughts? That sounds plausible. Yikes! But I’m using the phone as an example of human ingenuity. Our minds are capable of extraordinary feats but for me today – I will take a telephone free day. Have had some really tough weeks and yesterday my mind and body just told me to prioritise myself.
