We’re taught as children to distinguish between things: blue, not red; big, not small; good, not bad. When we become adults, this leads to us to make comparisons: am I more or less successful than that person? Happier? Sadder? It becomes an unhealthy way of thinking. No one ever knows the reality of somebody else’s life. The only thing that matters is you, your progress, and your happiness. Not in relation to anyone else’s either. If you can free yourself from restricting comparisons this week, you’ll be surprised at what you discover.
Oh yes good point, I beleive comparing is one of the main reasons to why we are not ”feeling well”.
