People have a way of choosing to see the world in black and white. If they believe something then they believe it absolutely. The notion that they could be even partially wrong is unthinkable to them. But often, when someone puts forth an argument that effectively knocks their certainty, it’s enough to engender a complete conversion. If they were wrong, then this new perspective must be right. But the world is a rainbow of colours. It’s important to view life in all its complexities this week.
